Ok, so I've managed to make room under my 29g to add a 10g sump. I was planning on gettin a Eshopps nano overflow and I'm looking for a quiet pump that can handle close to 200 gph at a head height of 3.5'. I've been trying to find some pump head charts, but haven't managed to find much. You guys have any ideas. The only pump I have on hand is an Eheim compact 1000 but at that head I only get around 65-75gph per best measurement attempts.

    TIA

What are your dimensions that a pump will fit in?

Going to be a DIY sump so I have options. Not wanting anything too bulky as there is already limited room in 10g.

Been looking at a Mag, but I've seen lots of complaints about noise. This tank is in my bedroom so the less noise the better. I actually just stumbled across Sicce Syncra Silent Multifunction Aquarium Pump I've seen some good youtube videos comparing the noise of mag drives and snycra pumps. I may give it a go.

My budget was pretty tight so I have a rio 1700. I've read mixed reviews, but so far 3+ months and still absolutely quiet and no problems.
