    Just bought one, and i was wondering how high should i let it sit in the water?

    You will need to see where it needs to be based on your system.

    Well, I'm totally new to skimmers, but I assume you're talking about wet vs. dry skimming?

    Also, the only place I can fit it (Besides DT), fluctuates in water level about an inch a day. Under these circumstances, is it even efficient to have a skimmer?

    Not good in the area that fluctuates. You should baffle the section where you put the skimmer so the level stays steady. The return pump should be in a different section than the skimmer.

    The biocube has 3 sections, sections 2 and 3 fluctuate, section 1 doesn't, however the skimmer doesn't fit in section 1. How would I go about baffling section 2?
