I have a 125gal reef thinking about going with a sump. Don't have one at the moment. Was told that theses overflow boxes work great and don't lose suction during a power outage. Any help thanks in advance.

They are one of the best boxes out there. I've used the PF-300 and got to help with getting the Nano box from design to production.
The U tube design will not lose siphon in power outages and I even ran a 300 on a fuge with very low flow and a big air bubble in the tube.
No problems at all. If you're going to go with a HOB then go with Eshopps.

Yeah +1 on the box, if you don't drill then this would be the best option. I've got the pf300, and so far the only thing I've seen is every now and then is my box will fill higher than it normally does. The flow doesn't even think about stopping, and all I do is jiggle the tube up and down and it clears out with a gurgle and rights itself up. I have not had any issue with loss of suction, and with a Rio 1700 pushing up 4 ft, I it handles all it can push.

I have not had any problems with mine. I have had it for only 2 weeks though. No problems with loss of suction yet... Knock on wood.:)
