    I have a Mag 7 on my 55 gal with the Pf-800, and it seems as the overflow box isn't sucking the water down enough!

    I am also running the same set up and it works well. All i have to do is play with the skimmer box level. I used the return head on the Rio that can limit the return flow to the tank.

    So your just keeping the siphon flow the same, and dialing down your return pump? I adjusted myn a bit. Now that I think about it I should have ran 3/4" braided tubing for the return line to get more flow.
