I have a 150 gallon tank and my skimmer dyed on me. So I am looking for a new skimmer and have decided between the etss 600 or the aquac ev-240. Which one is better?

ETSS or a bullet 2 . would be my pick having ran all 3 the the aqua ev series would be my last choice , they never really impressed me. I had a friend in Va that has a Ev1000 on his 350 gal.. I sent him a used bullet 2 I had to try out well he is a fan now and he runs a LFS also :)

ETSS. I run my 90g on one of those and I love it.

Thanks everyone, I will look for an etss or bullet. Since more are towards the bullet then I will probably go with that. I have made the mistake in the past and went for a cheap one and want to make sure I get one that is the best in performance that I can afford this time. Do you know the best place online to get a bullet?

Thanks for the link, it's much cheaper there than any where else that I have seen.

Given the choice between a Bullet and an ETSS, I would go bullet. For a tank that size, I would consider a Bullet-3.

bullet 2 is rated to 250 gallons which would be 100 gallons more than mine, so that wouldn't work?

Yeah. It would work. But that number means 250g lightly stocked. The number goes down when adding corals, especially SPS. Or if it is a FOWLR with fish who are really, really messy eaters. Best to overshoot. Mine is rated between 100 and 300 gallons depending on what I have in the tank. I run a 90g. Perfecto......IMO of course.;D
