    i lowered the water level by a third.then i over dosed my tank with flatworm exit.the bristle worms fell out of the holes in the rock and i netted them off the sand bed where they laid parralized.the only other thing it affected was starfish,but they were ok after the water change.i only did this cause i had a very bad bristleworm problem.i still have some,but not many.

    I have pulled the rock out and put it in a bucket of freshwater. Nothing came out yet. But I moved all of my coral to my other tank incase there are more of these worms.

    no nothing came out but its got to be dead. still sitting in the bucket of fresh water lol.

    Where did you hear this?

    Rock is porous, any bacteria in the rock is already getting current, so this is not an issue.
