I was adjusting the skim level on my Euro Skimmer and when I adjusted the air valve the pump quit sucking in and started humming and vibrating. So I took it apart thinking maybe dirty or clogged, nothing. Clean as can be. Put it back together and same thing. Its a 900 gph Sedra pump.

Yeah, I got my salamander sitting in front of my tank right now. ::)
The pump will spin freely by hand, but it wont pull flow in. I dont know about vinegar in my pump. I like it on chicken, not fish.

Got it, a wheel needle went and stripped the hex shaped back to the magnet so I hope gorilla glue holds.
