    I have recently installed another metal halide bulb into my reef system and would like to know what you guys think about the setup.

    3 175W Hamilton 20K bulbs
    2 54W T5 with 1 blue and 1 purple
    1 20W LED Blue fixture (24 hour)

    653 Watts total rough 9 watts per gallon

    I don't have a PAR meter so I'm curious what your thoughts are?

    Mixed reef, 20 SPS, Huge Squamosa clam, 20 LPS and a few softies.

    I don't see many choices for bulbs for the 175 compared to the 250 or 150. Did you find a good deal on those? What made you choose 175?

    I did get a deal on the bulbs and ballasts.

    That is plenty of light, should be able to keep what ever you wish. Pics would be great.
