Even worth it??

    Please dont comment on the skimmer i was just wondering if it would be worth buying one of those oceanic bio-cube skimmers. I know its tiny but thats just what i need seeing as how i have a cadlight. So, in your opinions, will it at least remove some fish poop? (in other words, litterally all im asking, is would it be better than nothing)

    no not worth it.
    maybe try a better nano skimmer
    possibly one of the Aquatic Life Internal Mini Protein Skimmer 115's if it will fit in your tank.

    i would say no. unless you replaced the airstone VERY frequently and cleaned the skimmer every 2 days or so, you will probably not make much skimmate at all.

    I have the aquatic life mini protein skimmer in my 28g biocube. Love it. I had the oceanic one and it is in the basement in a box! Never worked well

    Now in terms of the aquatic life...not sure it will fit in the Biocube with a lid. I have my biocube open top so I dont think you can close the lid. And if you push the skimmer down lower in the water they you cover the air hole and the skimmer doesnt work as well!
