Going to be heading out that way in around 3 weeks now for our honeymoon and was hoping for some first hand pointers. I have heard all about carying money in small bills in multiple pockets and traveling with a photocopy of the passport jazz, but what about the fun stuff? Are there any shallow reefs worth going too to snorkel, or any other hot spots we cant miss?

If you get some good suggestions on where to dive/ snorkel, you might end up with enough life to look at.

Typically the Caribbean is a little low on reef life, in comparison to the Pacific, or other tropical waters.

When I went to Puerto Rico in May, I found a nice place to dive. Not like Fiji or anything as far as biodiversity, but still pretty good.

Hopefully you can find something like I did.

Downtown Negril is a blast. Lots of music, bars and stands.

Depends on where your going? Are you going to the tourist areas where thousands of people are herded like cattle off cruise ships to "snorkeling areas" then you probably won't see much. But if you get away from those places there are nice snorkeling and diving spots.

Were staying at the grand palladium resort, and thats about all I know. At an all inclusive resort I'm not really sure i'll be sober enough at any point to go snorkeling, but i'd still like to give it a go so long as were not stars in the new hostel or turistas movies.
