The should should be just fine. I haven't seen any LED systems for 6 foot tanks. Look into BoostLED and Orphek for their lighting solutions.

Three boost MU135 should be great. I have two and added two par30's to my tank but it is a 125 ^foot but only 22 deep

Ok Thanks for your help, I'm leaning toward two of the PR-156W.

The tanks dimensions are 72" long X 24" wide x 30" tall. The tank has dual rear corner overflows, drilled in the bottom with 2" drains, and 3/4" returns. There are also 3/4" holes drilled in the overflow boxes for the return line.

Do you think I need to put both my lights running parallel to the tank?

Also is a 55 gallon sump the optimal size for a 225g? bigger? smaller?

    Tank arrived today:

Sump size should be as big as you can fit. lol bigger the better.

BTW that is the coolest pic of a empty tank i have seen yet lol

i think the 55 will do a fine job. but if you can fit something bigger in the stand and have the funds why limit yourself you know what i mean?

not really a maintenance difference. but how about when you want to beef up your skimmer or add a reactor ect..ect.. a bigger sump will accomidate those things alot easier. also more water volume will never be a bad thing.

Nice 75 it is then. I have no experience in reactors, UV etc..

    Right now it's sump/refug/protein skimmer.

keeping it simple always works. i also only use sump/fuge/skimmer although i guess i do have a reactor that i run carbon in. Either way, MORE PICS!!
