evil red serpent

I have a black serpent, and I have had 2 of my smaller fish go missing. Read up on serpents and most people say that all of them will, if they get the chance, eat fish and such. They say you have to keep them well fed. I started target feeding mine scallops from the grocery store every other day and the fish disappearances have stopped. So I would feed them if you don't want them eating stuff.

Just wanted to say I never saw my star taking the fish, but I can come up with no other reason they are gone. And after seeing some info on them seems they need to be well fed. They don't actually stalk and hunt the fish like the green ones, but will grab one if they get the chance.
