Haha, yes, it would look much larger in person than in pictures. It's hard to capture the depth in a photo, IMO.

I've heard that Starfire was easier to scratch than regular glass, but never had it myself.

Seems much is hard to capture in photos.

I've never heard that with Starfire; something I'll keep in mind. Thanks. However, due to clarity, at this point I'd never have a glass tank without it. It was seriously worth the little extra waiting time and money.

Thanks Eric. Hands off though, even if Jerry is giving you ideas. :p

On that note, I see somebody has way too much free time today. :p

Well, our living room finally got put back together fully last weekend; thought I'd share:

In other tank news, I picked up a couple frags last weekend locally: Mother of Pearl Acro and PPE cyphastrea. I was told the MOP came via Victor (WWC) originally, so it's possible he got some from WT at some point in time; the corallite structure looks correct to me. No pictures of either of those to share; I'll get some later.

I also picked up a couple cleaner shrimp, and they have clearly paired up. Yay! Free fish/coral food eventually. The transfer allowed me to banish my 2 year-old CBS to the sump. He never caused me any problems in the old tank, besides dinning on snails occasionally. But I've always wanted some cleaners, and I knew that wouldn't work with him around. I also couldn't get rid of him after having him for 2 years, as silly as that sounds. So my sump is a bit more interesting these days.

Almost 3 weeks post transfer, and things are looking better than ever. I'm also starting to feel comfortable with it, as I think I'm past the potentially unstable danger zone. Some of my corals look absolutely fantastic, and have better color and PE than they've ever had. Those and others are visibly growing; things are quite exciting right now. :) I've got the dosing dialed back in and stable too, until things take off at least.

I'll get some updated photos within the next week.

    Excellent news Hunter.

Looking forward to the MOP images in a big way.

    Love the seating arrangements.

Glad to see you feel you are out that that danger zone. I was quite weary with that as well for the 1st month and half myself.

PS :p you need more fish.. IMO.
