Thank you ma'am. ;) My pleasure.

Based on some RC threads were the question has been posed, there's anecdotal evidence there are different "strains" of AEFW, although they've all been classified as the same species. It seems they are 2 or three different types, each of which prefers a certain subset of acros. It's interesting, but I wish I wasn't so involved in the "experiment". :p However, much to learn still about this tiny little monster.

Fingers crossed you're right there. I hope so. I think so.

If it wasn't pretty and grew so (too) well, I would have rid myself of it long ago. But if anyone discovers a poci nudi, send it to me!

Thanks Cam! (I never remember your real name, only that Cam is just a nickname. So insert whatever name you prefer there. :p). Honestly, I hate to sound like a JF fanboy, but let me state a fact. He's the only vendor I picked up from at MACNA 2012 which all are still surviving today. I can't say that about any other vendor I purchased things from last year. So needless to say, that was one of the first booths I hit up this year.

Cover shipping, and I will get it on it's way anytime.

Alex is correct; NY Aquatic. He had a few shipments of them, and word spread quickly amongst us wrasse-heads; we all called/messaged each other. :D

Hey, I was very honest in that update. Go look at some older pictures; I didn't sell any colonies since then. What's gone is gone.

The branching cyphastrea can be temperamental. That spot on top of it will recede, grow back over, recede different, grow over again, etc. Whatever. I've just let it do it's thing.

    Thank you.

You are way too kind Thor. Thank you very much.

Meanwhile, it was always light out here. :p

I too have had the thought that maybe certain AEFW from certain places prefer certain types of acros. I dont think that they are actually different strains or types, they just know what they like.

Its kinda like a chinese buffet, you stay away from the pizza and potato wedges, you just eat what you came there for. :)

Do you have any other wrasses that equal the amphipod hunting skills as the Melanurus? A bit of a coincidence IMHO. Yes, I did a hard stop on the Bowerbanki picture. Awesome piece!

    I tend to agree Chris.

    Thank you.

I have a pair of Halichoeres Timorensis, which were and still are better hunters than the melanurus. No coincidence there; the problem existed while the melanurus was present too.

Thanks; knew you'd like that. :) Another Aqua SD steal, for such a reasonable price tag I won't anger you with.

Reef a Palooza was a blast. We went we another couple, and met up with some other Phoenix reefers while we were there. This might have been a bad plan; we were all a bad influence on each other. :p I don't even want to talk about the retail value of what we had in the car on the way back.

And this happened. Half of these two are mine.

I also nabbed an insane scoly and a yellow plate (which is truly yellow). Photos of those later.
