Thanks for the nice words everyone. The most amazing part to me is I started with all base rock and let it cycle for 6 weeks. I do a 20% WC every two weeks and i manually dose (2 part) and top off everyday. I never vacuum anything in the tank, but there's quite the CUC in the tank. 50 blue leg hermits, 3 turbos, 25 nassarius, 35 nerite, and 200 dwarf ceriths.

The fish were never added more than two at a time and at least a week apart.

I'll try to get a picture in the next few days. It's nothing special though. Just sand, rubble, a phosban reactor and a mag return.

Whoops, totally missed this post. Are you talking about the round coral on the top right? That's actually a Turbinaria (Pagoda Cup). The polyps were mostly closed cleaning themselves on this particular day for whatever reason.

Thanks, polyps are green. It's a bit high in the tank there and burned a little bit in the beginning, but there's some shade from the center brace there so I can get away with it.

    Ha! Sure.....

(It's Tonga branch covered in coralline ;D)

There's no SPS in here, minus that small piece of orange pavona. As you can imagine, my nitrates are always detectable due to the fish I keep and their feeding demands. I did the pavona just to see, and all has gone well. Soon there will be a piece of Undata in there too. I'm just slowly testing the SPS waters to see if they'll turn brown or not. Commence the big debate as to how low nitrates need to be...
