So colorful, it looks great. You get some crazy growth on some of those sps. Nice growth on the zoanthids.

But LEDs won't grow coral, right? ;)

Thanks Cheryl. If you ever do make it up around my way, you can add a frag of the ORA green birdsnest to your list of freebies (chaeto) if you want it. It's a serious weed for me. Just bring me some micro brittles. :cheesy:

I do not know squat about LED's. I do know that I would have a combination fixture. Old school I guess, but yeah the growth on the birdsnest is notable and all the corals have good coloration and sure look healthy.

Brittle stars and somatellas, I got sooooo many somatellas. I guess since I have not predators like hermits anymore ( red bug treatment ) they thrive.
    :)

    Thank you.

I took my hermits out for treatment; added them (+ more) back after. I'm not anti-hermit like some; I find they do good work. :)

Looking good!! Is that a pagoda cup coral? And if so, did you buy it that big or has it grown that much?!

    Thanks Kacy.

Yes it is. I bought it at a pretty good size, but somewhat drab in color (paid $36). In 9-10 months, it's grown 1/2"-1" in diameter. Slow growing at best.

    Tanks looking great Evolved

how are you managing to get some of those SPS frags on the tiles
fixed to the rock at an angle
    are you drilling and pegging
or is it superglue holding them

    Thanks Steve.

I pat dry the backside of the tile, liberally apply gel super glue, put a big gob of reef epoxy, then apply more super glue to the rock side of the epoxy. Press hard against the rock and hold for a minute or two.

I have had one pop off, but I just used more glue. A "bigger hammer" approach, if you will. :p
