    I was looking at my tank just now & I noticed a bristle worm!!!!
    What should I do? So far I have noticed one.

    They are fine, good scavangers for the tank. Just leave him be

    Ew its gross I don't want him!!! lol Are these guys bad or good? Because I was reading alil & some are good & some are bad.

    They are good, they only eat the dead things and the occasionaly piece of frozen food that happens to land next to their hole. They often get mistaken for killers since they are almost always seen munching on a dead fish. They are only cleaning things up and aren't to blame for the death.

    Alright fine I'll leave him be, But if I see one more of these worms I'm going to be grossed out! lol The one I have is grey & It has a orange tail YUCK! Will he munch on my corals?

    Nope, they stay away from anything living. If you are dead set against them and want to get rid of them the natural way, an arrow crab will take them out.

    Yes an arrow crab will eat them but they are quite aggressive to other tank inhabitants.

    I'm sure you have more than just one. They're like roaches. If you see one, there are many more hiding around.

    use a flashlight at night.... probably have hundreds if not thousands of them.

    How can you think they're disgusting? They're just worms... your tank is probably full of worms, not just bristleworms.

    Anyways.... they're important to a healthy marine ecosystem, as much so as 'pods, fish, nitrobacter, etc so you should really keep them in there.

    Aside from arrow crabs you can also buy traps that will get some out... but you'll never eliminate them without killing just about everything else in the tank along with them.
