Looking good! Definitely don't paint it. Get some car tint, 25% tint all 4 pieces of glass, throw a sub in that stand, dump 40 feeder goldfish in, and start bumping. No need for all this fancy stuff you've been working on. Do that and you'll for certain have the best tank on 3reef! LOL.

No really, someone needs to do that... would be rad...

Anyways, here are quick pics of process of the stand wrap:

    Apply contact cement on stand:

Apply it on cut Formica piece as well, wait for 20 mins, let it dry. Then place it carefully on designated surface.

Trim the excess with a router with a "flush drill bit"

In this pic below, you can see the cut i made with the router. (bottom) Repeat the process:

    Trim again:

Never used a router before, but you get the hang of it rather fast. Make sure you ware protective goggles! :D

looking slick!, when i first threw myself in the hobby i use to hate cubes and smaller setups, now as i have gained more experience im starting to appreciate them more and more as small coral only focused tanks.

i was going to agree with painting the back black as those white tubes could have really stuck out but you aquascaped nicely.

what little critter(s) you going to add in there to bring organic matter?
