And WTH do you propose he finds one of those? lol

Also, a true lanceolatus is rather aggressive (just as it's roseafascia cousin).

Yes; you'd be fine with any fairy or flasher, or some Halichoeres.

A different flasher species could be had for $50-60; some could not however.

Yes; that is one in my avatar. :D $170 might buy you a small juvi. Females go for $200+; males for $250+.

This guy set me back $350 from DD:

And not only would you have to go to Japan for a lanceolatus, but you'd have to know where specifically to go in Japan. They are only found in select areas, and even then they're not super abundant. The handful that are collected every year typically are not exported outside Japan. It'd be a $1000-1500 fish if you could find one in the states.

Your boss will get on board! When I started reefing I thought 20 bucks was insane for a fish...well...let's just say I drop way more on one fish now! She'll adjust up :)

That is funny that you mention this. When I started getting into saltwater, I told myself that $20 - $30 for a fish was crazy. Now I have spent $200 on just one fish lol and just spent another $40 on a clown today lol. It was my wife who wanted the $200 fish and she bought two of them lol.

EXACTLY. haha I don't even blink dropping over 100 for a fish now.

I was used to freshwater prices where I could get a fish for a dollar!!
