I am using Alpha kone 250 and the water level in side of skimmer (just below bubble is creating) is around between collection cup and main body.
Water might go more inside of collection cup, but it is normal I think.

    Yup, me likey. Because it's:
    quiet
    break in didnt take long
    easy to adjust
once you adjust, you see the result pretty instance
    big sized collection cup
relatively small foot print size (9"x7", I think)

Hey exactly, sorry if you've posted it before, but do you have an overall pic of your sump setup? Also, are you still running the same light from your 29, or have you added to it/modded it? I'm interested to see your sump setup, and also wondering how well your 24 led rapid kit lights the 90 gallon (i know you plan on upgrading, but for comparison purposes just curious what you think about the 24 over a 2 foot tall tank).

    ^^OOHH, you caught me... LOL
The clearest sump pic is here, post #28.
As for the light, I am still using the 24 RapidLED kit from the old 29. Most likely I'll be using it for a while. The pics you see in the thread is all under the same light. 7" off the top of the water and 29" from the bottom of the tank. It's not even close to be enough on 48" long tank!

Lol, well I kinda figured that. I'm thinking about the 36 Led kit from rapid to light my 65 gallon (same dimensions as your 90 just a foot shorter in length). I'm just going to keep softies and maybe a couple LPS, no SPS.

Yeah.. Im an equipment junky and the boss wants some more corals/fish.

Are you gonna hang it? What size of heatsink(s) are you looking at to go with? There's this guy who went with 40 LEDs over his 60gallon. Check it out..

I hope the sump pic was good enough for you.
