Exactly's ZEOvit 90G has reached the end :(

Yo JB, thanks!! Ive been doing relative aggressive water change recently to:
-fight cyano
-to replace the bad salt water
and at every water change, it's 10 gallon, simply because they are the biggest container that I have at the moment.

I removed the bottom cap! So everytime I turn it off, Id have to close the ball valve first, but it's working great.

 

Ha! Thanks for letting me know! j/k. I have been a bit disapointed with the flow. I'm going to remove the cap!!!

 

LOL sorry!! Make sure that you close the ball valve first and turn off the pump during the maintenance or whatnot.

 

Sad update..

Yeah, today was the day. I knew this day wouldve come sooner or later, but it came way sooner..
We gave up our loving sailfin. Someone who has a bigger tank took him in. I know its better for him, but I liked him a lot.

 

I'm sure that had to be very upsetting for you. I guess that is all part of being a responsible reefer though.

 

Even my 4 year old was sad.. "Is he gonna write a letter to me??" Very heartbreaking.

That is so sad. I have a 4 year old as well, and he loves my tank along with my 3 and 1 year old lol.

 

Enough being emo. On the positive note, I get to choose a replacement to fill the void, right? We'd like a yellow eye kole tang.

 

Sorry to hear you had to let him/her go. Its harder to see the children's reaction when they are attached. I love the yellow eye Koles myself.
