    Lol, yeah I'm an equipment junkie myself. Me and the girlfriend have very different opinions when it comes to the tanks, haha.

    Yeah i've checked out his build thread, but he has no pics of it over the tank!

    And yes, I'm going to hang my light just like yours was over your 29, and I actually wanted to ask you, how bad is the light spillage? I.E. how much light scatters out of the tank and lights up the area around it? Mine is going right next to my tv, and I dont want it to blind me. But I hate the look of canopys. Your 29 setup looked SO CLEAN. I love it.

    LOL.. Girlfriend? Nice! She's not the ultimate boss then.. anyways... Im still waiting for him to post the pics of the LED over his tank as well!

    Thanks for the compliment. The light spillage/spread is not bad at all since its got the (55~65 degree) optics, but my TV is at the completely opposite side of the tank, so....     The light fixture was never done because before I could finalize it with a proper surrounding/case, I found this 90 gallon on CL, so I took it down.. I HATE the canopy look as well (this, same opinion with the boss, thank god).

    The 4.25 x 23 might be a lil too narrow and/or short for your tank     (36 7/8 x 19 x 24 5/8, correct?) Id go 6 x 27 or something close to it.

    Ahhh yes, evolved's build. Probably one of the first led builds I stumbled upon. Thanks for the link, sweet build. Now you just need to convince the boss to let you put a black background on that 90 and really send it over the top! What is she thinking?
