Operation sand storm

Ok Im gonna say it out loud. I've got the dinos. Yup, thats right, dinoflagellates.

I had been manually siphoning them out everyday. It forced me to change 5 gallon water. Did it for 2 weeks, everyday. It looked like it slowed down so I started to siphon out every other day. and I was suggested to add live sand particularly this Nature's Ocean brand, to diversify the type of bacteria in the system.

I added the whole 20lbs yesterday, slowly and carefully. Used a small container to add directly to the existing sandbed. As thin and spread as possible. No rinsing.

The water cleared matter of a couple of hours.
