    JB asked me how my skimmer was doing, here are the skimmer pics:

    Its at 8.5" depth water level.

    There is this much opening: turn the red valve(?) counter-clockwise to get drier skimmate.

    Its not quite "coffee" yet but it's definitely more than "tea" color.

    yea... thats what i am looking for! what have you been setting the air valve? also how long does it take you to get to that level in your cup?

    This is since I cleaned the collection cup..... 4~5 days ago, I think. Oh and the air valve is closed all the way to the clockwise or you could open a tiny bit.

    can i get a pic of where the white dot is on the red valve and where micro bubles stop on the neck of the skimmer?

    Ok I tried to take a pic of the red valve so you can see the dot's position, but there is no space to maneuver around ! What I can tell you tho, is that the white dot is at between 1:00 to 2:00 o'clock if you place the skimmer's water outlet facing towards you straight (just like in the picture above). Does this make sense?

    The microbubbles stop inside of the collection cup. They used to stop below the neck, but now it's at the 1~1.5" from the collection cup bottom.
