Match the red and white dots first, where both are at 6 o'clock (the outlet is open all the way). At this point the microbubbles in the skimmer body are at the really low level.
Now turn the valve counter-clockwise almost to the other side (12 o'clock), almost all the way closed. If you do this, the bubbles will overflow into the collection cup like crazy, correct? Then you're gonna wanna adjust not to overflow too much into the cup, almost none by turning it back (clockwise), my case, the white dot's at 1~2 o'clock position.

ok this is where i am getting confused. i would see it as:

when both the red and white dots are together that would be 12 o'clock. which is fully open. then turn the red valve counter clockwise so the white dot is at the 6(fully or almost fully closed). then turn it clockwise to around the 7 or 8? which should put me at around where you have it? at the same time close the air valve clock wise towards the minus side. Which make it louder as you can hear the air and maybe open it up a bit if needed(by turning it counter clock wise a bit)?

Sorry...Thanks for the help with this.

First of all, dont be sorry, please. Thanks is more than good enough :)

Correct. How are the bubbles at this point? It's more important that the bubbles are reaching to the top just enough than how mine is set.

Really? If the air is closed all the way, its quieter for me. And if the outlet is like that (1 o'clock for me, 7 o'clock for you), when I open the air a little bit, bubbles would overflow from the top a bit too much for me.

So, again, even if you set yours exactly the same as mine, it might not get the same result. I think the salinity, pH, and other factors changes the result. I say this, because before the bed, it was working just fine, but in the morning, no bubble is coming out from the top, it happened before.

What I tried to do was to turn the red valve counter-clockwise so the microbubbles reach around the neck. Let it be over night. If no bubble is coming out, open the air a TINY bit (I mean, literally a hair bit), see how it does in a few hours.

    I hope this helps..

This RBTA is REALLY tiny! But it's amazing that, despite the size, it has beautiful red and greenish color.

And still waiting for the purple hammer to open up. (Pics to come.)
