Exactly's ZEOvit 90G has reached the end :(

I'm usually not a chromis fan, but I like them in your tank. Man your coraline is exploding, what did you do? I have zero in my tank right now.

 

Thanks!! It was interesting to see the introduction/initiation between the clowns and the chromis. It didnt seem to take long getting to know each other and they're all happy now
I love the coralline explosion! The BioPellets are the only thing that I think of thats causing it.

Thanks JB! The wife has read some stuff saying chromis should be in a group of 6 or more? I really dont know but they are not expensive (@4.95 from LFS) so... Now she is bugging me to get 2~3 more...

 

Ok the UPS guy brought me following goodies:
-Rio pump (10HF)
-MicroBactor7
-Veggie Clip

Replaced the temporary Mag3 with the 10HF for the return. And replaced the MaxiJet Utility 1100 with Mag3 for the BP reactor, since the pellets were getting heavy looking.

And I carefully and slowly added BRS alk, since the pH went down a bit (8.2). See how it goes.

 

Sweet chromis. I love them, as simple as they are. They're such social butterflies. Mine try to school with my two tangs, lol. Plus, they pull all the fish out from hiding.

If your bioload can handle it, try getting a few more to see if they school. Three wont really do it, but 5-6 might pull together. It's hit or miss. but they're cool and small on the bioload.

 

Hey Sacul, I think Im gonna get more chromis soon. I love them as well and Id love them even more if they school!!
