    It is called a BeanAnimal overflow and drain system. Google it and you will find beans website with a great explanation. Its is the best system you can run, offering double failsafe features, quiet operation, flawless restarts after power outages, and great piece of mind.

    Thanks insanespain. I was too busy setting up the iPhone 4S.
    But yeah, just like he said, BeanAnimal is the only way to go in my opinion. Especially for bigger tanks. It might look intimidating to some people, but this is my second tank upgraded from 29 gallon. Id recommend to any reef starter for sure if you are willing to get your hands dirty only a little bit for what you like. insanespain and I will walk you through it for sure as well :)

    -Safe
    -Quiet
    -Reliable
    These are main factors for a lot of people and for me as well since the tank is in the living room where I enjoy watching movies and such.
