those are sweet fish! I saw a small one at the fish store a week ago and somehow stopped myself from buying him b/c I just got the clowns recently. One of these days though :p.

The tank videos are a nice change from pictures! You should post a FTS video so we can see what everyones up to!

Very nice add! He's probably hoping the cleaner shrimp will jump on and give him a little back scratch... my yellow and hippo love the cleaner and fire shrimps. You'll see it happen eventually.

Any sign of ich? It'll probably pop up and then fade as the hippo gets used to his new home.

Watch out, hippos grow like mad. Mine was the size of the clown fish when I got him, now 8 months later he's 3-4x that. The primary "crop-duster"... lol!

Hey Sacul, thanks! Even tho a hippo is common fish, it's so cool to see him in our tank. No sign of ich. He is so small and flat, he seems to fit any crevices, chases wherever shrimps are, since both of the shrimps are carrying eggs, dont want to expose themselves too much out in open space.

Thanks! Whenever we go to our LFS, we NEVER come home empty handed...

Still waiting for the new rocks to color up, but there is not a spot of purple on them.

Funny there are two cleaners in there and both of them are carrying eggs now. One has greener ones than the other. I havent really read anything about breeding shrimps, it's not easy.. When they release them, they will be eaten by others, unfortunately.

Id like to snap some shots, but they dont come out from their cave...

Yeah, it's gonna be $250 order from RapidLED, hopefully I can squeeze some $$ out from Nov, which is my birth month.

And one of the shrimp released the eggs and got eaten I believe.. Unfortunately didnt get to witness. The other one still has them, the eggs are getting greener. I'll try again to snap some shots.
