Thanks Rtm! 70lbs dry arent really much, just Pukanis are really porous.

Love your tank bro! I feel u with the coralline growth. i had a lot in a few months then it was halted. You have so much room for stuff in there im jealous. not that i could afford to put something in it but its the thought that counts. haha.

I like the overflow too, i know in reality its probably much simpler than i make it out to be. But when it comes to Bean flows im lost. I feel that i might mess it up. I would LOVE to do it for my 75, but like i said im lost. I dont understand the concept of the full cyphon, back up one, blah blah. It looks like if i drilled 3 holes. put 3 bulkheads 2 down one up. that it would work? It looks like the middle one is offset down a tad. Would it matter if the pipes were further apart? things i question about this overflow lol. Im just afraid of f'n my shiz up. lol

    Thanks for the feedback guys!
I say this everywhere on here, but when it comes to bigger tank (or any size tank), BeanAnimal is the only way to go. I did have a Glass-holes overflow on my 29, I loved it. But still I knew something better was out there, so I've read and read, simulated the build in my head over and over. I had never seen any Bean setups in person until I built my own, but it is:
    -Quiet
    -Reliable
    -SAFE
The loudest thing on my setup is the Vortech MP40. You wont hear water drain noise even when you are in the room alone with the tank after midnight.

There is another active reefer here with the Bean setup (insanespain, a smart knowledgeable DIY guru), we'll walk you guys through for sure!

    So heres the answers:
Yeah pretty much thats it. The main pipe is placed lower than others a bit because the main should start draining first. The pipes should be close together so they drain in the same chamber in the sump.

If you are thinking Bean, GO FOR IT!!!

Can you tee off a bean animal so that I could have skimmer/return/fugue? Or would it be easier to have the full siphon go skimmer the the secondary go to the fuge?

You cannot tee off a bean animal. The three drains need to execute into your sump as their own individual drains. You also will not want to use the secondary for the fuge because the full siphon handles almost all of the flow, and the little bit that's left over simply trickles down the open channel standpipe. I built my sump with a center return and just used a maxi jet 900 to move water from the first chamber over to the fuge. It is really not hard to do a bean animal, its pretty easy and as exactly stated, is the BEST setup.
