    Thanks chappy! Spent a lot of time on this. It was windy and cold anyway, so I figured that I work on it. I like how it turned out.

    Thanks Mr. Bill! Yeah, the coralline stopped after I put the 30lbs of cured rocks. Guess I have to wait and see.

    What up, bro, thanks! I used decent amount of the WaterWeld putty. Its really stable.

    I havent been able to run the skimmer for 3 days because it would go nuts due to the WaterWeld epoxy I used to fix the rocks. Im letting it drain into a rubbermaid right now:

    I hope it calms down soon so I can finish changing water. LOL

    Glad Im not the only one LOL

    No the air was closed all the way, the water outlet valve was all the way open. It was still overflowing like crazy. It seems to be calmed down tho..

    i actually returned my skimmer last week. its has been giving me problems for 2 or 3 months
    waiting on another one.

    yea i know.

    When i would unplug the skimmer it wouldn't restart. unless i took it apart and put the pump in a 5 gallon bucket and messed with the pump till i got it going. Then i came home and it had stopped. so i said thats it. bigals has a one year warranty.

    Sorry to hear, JB! Hopefully get the new one in no time!
    Speaking of, I cleaned the skimmer the other day. MAN, it was NASTY! The air intake hole was clogged with the calcium deposit over the last five months. I gotta clean up more often!

    Oh man, really?? I have never heard of this issue until today. The thing is BigAls doesnt seem to be have them in stock all the time. Mine never failed on me, but when I cleaned the skimmer the other day, I really wanted to open the pump as well, but I couldnt.
