^I know! Glad I tracked it down! It turned out that outsourced carrier guy, who delivers on Saturdays, messed it up and got buried with other packages.

    And....
...the sand and water are in!

You will find marco rocks sand to be very fine. It took mine 2-3 days to fully settle out. Did you rinse it before adding to the tank?

The MagDrive came today, finally after 11 days since the eBay auction ended. Well it was $50 shipped so shouldnt complain, should I?

BigAls online got these back in stock, so of course an order was placed. I went with the 160. Less than $250 shipped with the "3reef" code was a good deal, I think.

Anyways, some update pics of plumbing. The stand is sitting on the mat that I got from Homedepot, bottom is rubber, top side is carpet, $2.50/ft. The mat is upside down and its sitting on the hardwood floor, believe it or not, this whole beast is moveable!

I used 1" Spa PVCs directly connected to the MagDrive with the fittings to minimize the noise. The pump itself is sitting on a super high tech vibration absorber aka a piece of sleeping mat when you go camping. 8) And of course, there is a tee in the middle with a ball valve (blue knob) to adjust the flow if I have to.

The red ball valve is to adjust the both returns have the equal flow.

It was one of the conditions that the wife had when we decided to build this 90 gallon: do NOT paint the back. I guess Im ok with that.

The MagDrive is not operating yet. I need to let the glue dry till tomorrow. So the temporary weak sauce returns are doing its job instead.

Oh btw, the rocks in there are cured. Theyve been cured for 2+ months even before I got this tank :)

Thanks! I cant wait till the full upgrade! Its getting close tho. And I am so mesmerized by the various waves that the MP40 creates. It even makes a wave inside of the overflow box!

The MagDrive's being used as the return externally, like you see in the pic :)
