Thanks Logan!! I neglect those gangs and dont post their pics, so the boss (wife) has been nagging.. LOL
I use the Nikon D90 with an inexpensive prime lens. This combo gets a job done 8)

And YES! the tangs are getting along! The sailfin (his name is Ace) is still the boss, and Hippo (H) is an idiot. H doesnt care if he gets swiped by Ace once in awhile. They still share the same veggie clip.

That is an awesome pic and the D90 is a great camera! I'm glad your tangs are getting along.

I should get another clip too. H is bold enough to go to the clip, but Ace doesnt like it and swipes him..

    Side FTSs :p

Did the weekly water change, cleaned the skimmer and the glass, and rearranged the coral.
The new rocks started to get covered with lime green coralline with spots of purplez WOOT! LOL

Still the skimmer is acting weird: way too much bubble after I was forced to use different salt mix due to the local availability (Coralife --> Seachem). I raised the skimmer got a bit better yet not too much.

Observation of wider spectrum of rebuilt LED:
-Green Nobilis acro's polyp extension is fuller than ever. (I think he likes the turquiose)
-Purple/blue tenuis acro started to show more purple. This acro is right under the UVs (420 and 398nm).
-Green aussie slimer acro is ripening up with metallic green (placed right next to the tenuis above).
-Trumpet coral is loving the rebuilt LED as well. Never seen so open before. (Placed at the bottom)
-There is some creep of brown algae. Maybe the wider and longer light is covering more area?

finally some color on the new rocks! ;D knew it was coming sooner or later lol

Sorry to hear about your skimmer - my 120 seems touchy too. Works great one day - not so great the next.

PS I'm jealous of your vortech!

Thanks Logan! Ive noticed the green on the newer rocks after lights out. Again, staring at the tank all the time doesnt really help. Getting there tho! LOL

Yeah, I just have to keep using the Seachem salt and switch back to Coralife. I shouldve gotten a smaller one instead of a 5gallon bucket! The Seachem salt clouds the water big time too if I dont aerate for more than 24 hours..

I love the MP40! Makes awesome waves even in the overflow box! LOL
