    My chaeto hasn't grown at all either in my current set-up. It used to nearly double in size every week in my 10 gallon. i keep in the fuge anyways because the pods seem to love it.

    Shin using Biopellets I dont think your cheato will grow at all.For most people dosing and running GFO Macro algae just slowly dies

    I bet the reason chaeto hasn't worked for you guys is that your tanks are too clean! The chaeto probably doesn't get enough nutrients.

    The vodka is kicking in and the bacteria is consuming all the PO4 and NO3, hence no more thriving chaeto.

    Yeah, even before the biopellets, I never got them to grow either.. I guess Id have less chance in theory...

    Well at least I get to feed the fish rather generously, right?
