    I ordered both my scooters online. Diver's Den puts them up. Usually pairs, but sometimes single males and females.

    The female has a smaller dorsal fin that is all black/dark brown. The male has a very, very big dorsal fin that has a pattern on it.

    Here's my female:

    Here's my male when I got him. His dorsal fin is MUCH bigger now, but you can see the pattern:

    Of course! It's so funny he showed no interest in the original female, and as soon as I add this one he gets all "happy" :)

    Cool news, it's so cool to see that they are happy enough to spawn in your tank.
    My mandarins did a while back if there were any survivors I'd give you one but I doubt that will be the case as they were right near the skimmer.
    Wishing you'll have better luck though.

    That's cool yours spawned and actually had babies! How are the eggs laid and stuff? I need to do some research!
