    Hey Everyone,

With the temperatures rising and the humiditiy increaseing in my fish room I thought it was time to install and exhaust fan to get some of the muddy air out of that room.

What I did was was went to lowes and bought the most powerful and quite bathroom fan I could find. So I brought the fan home and after looking at wiring options, I decided it would be best to wire a plug on to the fan rather then hard wiring it. After mounting the fan and running the cord down the inside of the wall and out a blank faceplace, I plugged the fan in to my Aqua Controller III. This gives me the ability to turn the fan on and off without manual intervention. What I did was programmed the unit to say if the water temp equls XX turn vent fan on. IF water temp equlss YY then turn vent fan off. So far so good. I ran the vent out the side of the house and it has made a big difference in both tank temp as well as the temp of the room.

I'm still messing with it as far as temp goes. I may have it turn on with my MHL and then turn off an hour after the MHL go off. This will give it enough time to clear out heat from the room before shutting off for the night.
