A week ago I upgraded my 16 gallon, by adding a 10 gallon fuge and a chiller to stabolize temp, pods, and water chemistry. I have a 6 line wrasse, he's about 2", and would like to get another fish.

Looking at Bicolor blennies, but am worried about my pink birdsnest and the 1 purple acro I have in my tank. Do they much on these? I know it' hit or miss..

Anyone have any other suggestions. Mainly looking for big personality, or nice colors.

I never heard of blennies nipping on corals before, thats news to me. Look up a Midas Blenny, great looking fish with lots of personality.

Liveaquaria.com and other sources state it may happen, but I'm thinkin it happens because of not feeding enough, or it's blamed on them in observance of harmless picking! I like the Midas Blennies a lot too. I've seen both them and the Bicolor in the LFS, but am obsessed with the Bicolor's eyes and how intuitive they look.. even thought the Midas is just as intuitive, not to mention colorful. Bicolor's are also hardier I believe. I really want a Mandarin but that may be too much trouble, I know people on Nano-reef.com, who have weaned them on live brine to frozen brine to frozen mysis, by using a syringe and airline tubing... but I'm not sure if I want to take the chance.

Yeah The tail spot was another I had my eyeball on. Are they as big on personality as the Midas or Bicolor.

Anyone have any other suggestions other than blennies.. I know I'm limited because I have a nano, and a Tang is not happenin.. lol

Cool looked up the Barbershop Gobie.. def cool lookin... I have a crushed coral bed, not sand.. not sure if the barbershop gobie likes to dig. I like the Tail spot and the Bicolor so far. Now I'm wonderin which one will co-exist with my 6-line.. in other words, which one is tougher.

you know what? I have a bicolor blenny and love him. My second one after the first jumped (and I built prison walls to keep them in)...

but now that you say that... i did add a pink birdsnest and it did horribly... I assumed it was light/flow... but now I'm wondering....

I too have crushed coral, a bi-color blenny and a 6 line. the two fish ignore each other now... the blenny was the agressor for the first few days...
