    The article reminds me, in a way, of people that have really expensive cars yet know nothing about them and have no real appreciation for them.

    I agree it is like finding a $4000 a month apartment that has great square footage but is only 5 feet wide.

    Ahh NYC.
    In another lifetime I used to run around Manhattan on the 6 train with a duffel bag with a Python siphon hose, test kits and scrub pads going to rich peoples condos to clean their tanks. I was given my own accounts for extra money from the aquarium store I worked at. This one 5 foot tall goldfish tank was a bear to clean but I was done in 25 minutes collected my $75 for cleaning and a $50 tip and was gone to the next one. This was in 1993. NYC is the mecca for the aquarium maintenance biz.
