Hey, after looking for ages for an affordable effetive LED lighting
    Ive discovered the AquaRay units.

AquaRay Beam 1000 HD Ultra and
    AquaRay Beam 500

both look really good to me and easy to install. Only thing I would have to do is find a way to mount them onto my tank as my hood is to low... these need to be about 6" above the water for a good effect im told.

Anyway I would like your views on these please :)

a good site i found with pleanty of info is TMC: Aquarium Products - AquaRay AquaBeam 500

If your hood is a wood canopy you can cut a hole in it and mount the light on top.

    I've got a 90L fluvel tank, I thin it's about 22" wide
I've noticed you can get a fitting to help mount the AquaRay from
    their site.

I currently only have lr and cuc, but u hope to eventually get all types
of corals etc in my tank

I've had soem discussion on these aquarays and Aparently LED arent as good as T5? The light isnt strong enough for the corals etc to photosynthesise properly...

can anyone else give some input on the LEDs? If they arent as good I will buy a t5 light unit instead...

    Thanks
