    what external needle wheel powerhead is the best based off of watts used, scfh, durability, noise, longevity and so on. here are some to choose from

    c-skim pump
    bubble blaster pump
    eheim
    sedra
    aquabee
    gen x
    octopus
    ocean runner

    from my understanding the sedra and eheim are the only 2 off the list that can be used externally, the problem is the volute, there are only 2 wings to hold the volute which allows for leaks.
