    Hi,

Just found this site...btw....awesome information here...Thank you all!!!
and cudos to Welcome to Salt Corner. for the link.

Not really a poster more of a voyer! :tongue4:

But I do have a question. My brother has been running an 80 gal salty for 3 to 4 years now.... I prefer to call it the tank of death... he has 2 clowns and a yellow tang which seem to be hardy but other then that...anything except cleaners dies... :( I am tired of him killing all the cool corals I continue to make him.

my tank has overflows and a sweet refugium. I have read in numerous places on the net about people installing external units to their tank inorder to add a refugium, never really paid attention to it because of not needing, but now that I need....lol can't find it. Although, my brother has many more issues to resolve in his death machine... I want to help him install this....could someone point me to some good info on the subject?

    Thanks,
    Bill

    WELCOME TO 3REEF!!!

Are you looking for a hang on the back refugium like the ones made by CPR or Miracle Mud (Ecosystem)?

Or are you looking to add a sump/refugium so you just need an overflow or a weir?

I'm assuming you are wanting the second so here are links to some you can purchase. The link also includes a lot of DIY plans.

    overflow boxes - Google Search

overflow boxes weir - Google Search

    Here's a great link to Marc Levenson's sump page. Melevsreef.com - Welcome!
