hey i have a 7' 150.. Im wanting to do a external calfo overflow with the bean animal pipes. If I remove the trim and grind down the back glass, what is to become of the braces? has anyone done this?

Couldn't you just cut out the part you need to so the water will go into the overflow? I would just use a grinder to cut out the same shape(s) in the plastic frame as well. Be sure not to cut all the way through it(vertically). When you put the frame back on, just silicone it to the tank again.
