external pump difference?

    im looking for a refflo hammerhead pump.i see there is a reeflo gold hammerhead and a reeflo hammerhead. the gold pumps less gph but costs more... what gives?

    It most likely has a greater head (pressure) that it pumps at. Creating higher pressure is more expensive than high flow.

    they pump the same head just mabe higher flow at that head?

    how many watts is each one? could it be more efficient?

    that could be. im guessing its either a head difference or a sound difference
