Guys, I am looking to get a external skimmer for my 150 mixed build. I have a 90 now with a HOB skimmer that isn't doing squat. I need to go external because my refugium is a 29 gal. that is 12" wide 36" long and the compartments are 6" on the water in and out sections. The rest is a large refugium with caulerpa. I don't want to say that price isn't a factor but it's not first on the list. I am looking at the Bubble -Magus BM160 External. What is your thought on the BM160 or other that I should be looking at.

I've heard good things about bubble master. I would also look at precision marine. I have one of their skimmers and have been extremely satisfied with the functions and the amout of skimmate produced. - Paul

    I would go with Geo

He can make you one to fit anywhere and they are quality and made right here in Ohio in his little shop with precision. You cant go wrong I would call him and ask him what he could build you and a cost before buying some junk that you will never be happy with. ;DGeoreefs
