So I am thinking of changing over my skimmer setup to something external. Right now I have a AM Turboflotor Blue 1000 running on a 29 display/20 frag tank/20 sump-fuge setup and it works well, but I want to free up some more space hopefully bump up the skimming power of the setup. I am leaning towards a larger skimmer that can easily be run on my 150 w/ a little bit of headroom once it gets set back up.
The current candidates are the AquaC EV200 or the MRC MR-2. Anybody have any thoughts on skimmers in this range? For the time being External is also needed because the headroom/space in the sump area is VERY limited.

I use an etss 800 they do really good as a external skimmer if I get some time I will take some pictures of how I have it set up.

    Thanks!
Ideally, I would like to go with a product line that also has a model in the 400ish gallon range, as that build is currently cooking on the backburner. Part of the reason I was drawn to the EV and the MRC, but I guess I need to look into the ETSS more.
