It means that it has a port to inject O3 into the skimmer.

i would assume the ability to skim a tank more then twice the size would make up for the fact the pro is the newer model.
the only difference between the pro and the extreme models is they changed the needle wheel i believe.

i looked into it, it didn't interest me. it seemed to me a good skimmer will give you the same results. all it does is break down organics faster. if the ozone maker broke and it leaks o3 in your room it could make you sick. also activated carbon does some of the same stuff.

Yes that sounds to complicated and dangerous. LOL If there is a way to screw it up I would find it and we all would be sick.

Another question. Can you over skim the water to a point where it would not be good

most people say no unless you have 1000 dollar skimmer on a hundred gallon tank. i see it as its almost impossible with the money a average person has. i have a coralife 125 on a 26 bow, thats almost 5 times overrated. all my corals and animals look good.

It can't as it needs air to generate O3. If it would come loose from the skimmer then there would be no pull of air through the generator to the skimmer and you wouldn't get any O3 out of it.
If your tank is new then you have a while before you need to be thinking about O3 unless you plan on feeding it to death.

what about the excess o3 that comes out the skimmer, do you run carbon on the outlet to absorb it.

Yep! All of the skimmer output goes over carbon plus I have a PM reverse flow substrate rector full of carbon too.
There isn't much excess O3 after it goes through that Bullet 3 ;)
