Well it's been almost a month. I've made a few changes to my setup. I went on vacation a couple weeks ago, and you know what that means...something inevitably went wrong while I was away. I've been combating a small break out of GHA. Phos/NO3 all read the same as they have since I began this tank. I believe that the "small" feeding I had a friend do was not so small. Anyway...

I bought a Phosban Reactor with the NPX screens, and plumbed it into my return pump. I am running EcoBak in it as of 8/1/11. We shall see how long this takes. I have also been busy on the coral adding front. I acquired a few more "prizes" this morning. First off, I got a small plug of Purple Hornet zoa's (8 polyps) for $10. Purple Death Paly's (two) for $10. My wife loved our Radioactive Dragoneye zoas...and they melted for whatever reason a few months back...so I got a small plug of those...$10. See the trend? And the big piece, I bought my first (of many hopefully) chalices. It is a "4 Color Watermelon" chalice. Everything seems to be doing fine, but has not fully opened. I shall snap some photos as soon as they do!

On another front, stay tuned for my 100+ gallon Frag Tank build coming next month!

Great pic of the purple hornets. I'd love a better picture of the chalice. Looks like he's halfway in the shade, is that what they like?

I'll try to get a better pic in a few days. I know they are a lower light coral (in general), but I am giving it a lil shade for a couple days to acclimate to my lighting. I'll move it out on the sand then for a couple of days, and finally up onto a rock.
