so a few minutes ago i went and turned on my lights at night. (2:22am). well my clowns looked all faded without color. and my yellow watchmen wasnt yellow it was freakin gray. its the second time i notice this after the lights have been off for a few hours at night and i look. is this normal? kinda scary.

It’s so cool how fish protect themselves – as a diver at night we get to see the parrotfish sleeping wrapped in his cocoon. These guys spend the last hour of their day covering themselves in mucus so they can sleep in peace. Very cool stuff !

I too often check out the tank at night, but I do it with a flashlight as not to upset the environment too much.
