I'm thinking about putting a small fairy wrasse and similarly sized dotty back in my 30g. Just wanted to know if they would get along with the clown and scooter blenny already in there.

I wouldn't think so - there tuff little ba$!@&ds although I do keep a flasher wrasse with a royal gramma with no issues but they are more docile than those dotty's.

i had one beat on my scooter for a while til I finally had to get rid of it. As far as the clown I think it depends on which and what size. My dotty never went anywhere near my tomato clown but ya never know

So the fairy is the more docile of the two?

Definitely! Dottys are cool little fish but tough especially when another fish enters it's territory.

K+ for the help. My tank is too small for conflict. If I get either it will not be the dotty back.

Just to add my 2 cents - when I was looking for fish I was always attracted to dotty backs because they are so beautiful. My LFS guy told me to never get a dotty back because they are really mean and can/will kill other fish in your tank. I'm sure some people have nice dotty backs, but in general I think it's wise to stay away! Especially in a smaller tank.
