I just bought a Yellow Flanked Fairy Wrasse this morning, acclimated it, put it in the QT, and fed it. the back 1/3 of his body is not being used for swimming. i've read other threads, and other FW owners have had similar issues. he swims using only his front fins. he seems to have some control over his back half, he can tilt and turn with it, but not swim. other than that, his eating habits and behavior are the same. pics will come later...

My fairy wrasses never used their tails unless they need to escape, their tail stays straight and they use the pectoral fins for propulsion
