False clown mate?

    Hey guys I have a false clown fish in a 65g tank with no anemone, if I got him/her a mate, would they get along? Is it good idea to do it? He is just swimming on top level of the aquarium and does not really interact with my other fish; just so lonely.

    how old is he? the younger they are the better the chance is they will hit it off

    Not sure, he is about 1.5", 2 tops.

    You can pair up clowns as long as the one you introduce is of the same species and smaller size than the established one. There will most likely be some aggression as the dominance issue is worked out but things will settle down. And you don't need an anemone to successfully keep and breed a pair of clowns.
